Processing & Transit Times

When will my order ship?

We are currently in a temporary shipping blackout as we move into our new headquarters. We are still accepting orders during this transition.

Shipping will resume on Monday, December 22nd; orders will be processed in the order they were received.

Exceptionally large orders may require 1-2 additional business days to process and ship.

Transit Times:

All orders ship from our Carrollton, Texas warehouse. Depending on where you are located, you will receive your order anywhere from 1 to 5 business days after the order is shipped. Please refer to the FedEx Ground map below to see your specific transit time based on your delivery address.

Chocolate Icing Policy

During the warmer months (typically April through September), we will ship your chocolate item(s) in insulated boxes with ice packs. All chocolate items are heat-sensitive, particularly premium brands of chocolate such as Lindt® and Russell Stover®.

Chocolate items are not currently being iced.

Candy Corner will not be responsible for any chocolate items that melt during transit. We will not accept returns or refunds for any melted chocolate items unless the chocolate melted due to an issue with FedEx (e.g. there was a delay with FedEx and the order took longer to arrive than expected).

How to prevent your chocolate items from melting:

What We Do:

During the warmer months (typically April through September), we take the following precautions:

  • We ship all chocolate item(s) in insulated boxes with ice packs.
  • We avoid shipping chocolate orders on a day when the transit time includes a weekend. Even though we pack all chocolate orders with ice packs in insulated boxes, there is a risk of melting if the package sits on a hot delivery truck over the weekend.
  • If you are located in a 4-day or 5-day zone, we will automatically upgrade your shipping method to FedEx 3-Day, free of charge to you. This will ensure that your chocolate order is not in transit for more than 3 days.

What You Can Do:

  • Ensure that someone will be at your shipping address to receive your order on the carrier's first delivery attempt.
  • Consider the weather/climate of your shipping location. If your location is hot year-round, you may want to avoid ordering a lot of heat-sensitive items.
