Trick-or-Treat Candy Questions
How much candy do I need for trick-or-treaters?
Plan on 1 full size bar, king size bar or theater box per trick-or-treater, or 3 fun size pieces, plus about 10% for late knocks. The How Much Candy table does the math for your crowd.
What's the difference between fun size, snack size, full size and king size?
Full size is the regular bar, about 1.5 to 2.5 oz. King size, which Mars calls Share Size, is about 2.6 to 5 oz, with 1 or 2 bars in the wrapper. Fun Size and Snack Size are the same small wrapped bars, and Miniatures are smaller still.
When should I order for delivery by Halloween?
By Sunday, Oct 25 at 11:59 PM CT for delivery before Halloween, anywhere we ship. For events on Oct 24 or 25, order by Sunday, Oct 18. Orders placed before noon CT ship the same business day.Orders placed before noon CT ship the same business day, and later orders ship the next business day.
How do you ship chocolate?
In insulated boxes with ice packs during warmer months, and only on days that keep it off a weekend truck. Our shipping policy has the schedule.
How many boxes do I need for free shipping?
Orders of $150 or more ship FREE by FedEx Ground, and your whole cart counts. That's 3 boxes of most full size or king size bars (2 of the 48-bar boxes), 5 bags of Snickers or Twix Fun Size, or 5 cases of theater boxes.
What about trick-or-treaters with food allergies?
Always read the label before handing out treats, since fun size and miniature versions can have different ingredients than the full size bar. For non-chocolate options, try Skittles, Starburst, Mini Airheads, Dum Dums or Mike and Ike.
Do you ship to Alaska, Hawaii or PO boxes?
No. We ship to home and business addresses in the 48 contiguous states, from our Coppell, Texas warehouse.
Can I return candy I don't hand out?
We can't take back food unless it arrives damaged or defective. If that happens, our return policy explains how to report it.
